Daily load shedding woes

I LIVE in the Glen Anil area and have had load shedding every evening, either between 4pm and 6pm or from 6pm to 8pm. This is an extremely difficult time for families to have no power, but surely the schedule should allow different people to have load shedding at the various times?

I do understand that the eThekwini electricity department needs to do load shedding, but colleagues and friends have gone through this same period with no load shedding at all. I would appreciate it information on why certain areas are always being affected while others are not affected at all.
