WHEN I first heard a loud drum beating at 2:30pm last Saturday afternoon I first assumed a neighbour was throwing a party, so great was the noise in Virginia.
After checking the Moses Mabhida Stadium website I discovered the source – a weekend long rave until 1am Sunday and Monday morning. Absolutely unacceptable and anti-social to have music thumping out at this level and for so long.
If this reoccurs I suggest affected residents call in sick to work the following week and see how much that costs the local economy.
