THE Sani Dragon, a two-day MTB stage race will begin on 30 September and 1 October in the Underberg area of Southern KZN. The event will be based at the Premier Resort Sani Pass and takes place over the same period as the annual Underberg Farmer’s Association (UFA) Agricultural Show.

Stage one sees riders cycle a 50 kilometre loop around Underberg & Himeville (7am start). Stage two is a 42 kilometre race to the summit of Sani Pass and back finishing at Premier Resort Sani Pass (6:30am start).

There is also a Sani Dragon LITE event over two stages as well.

Participants can take part in either teams of two riders or individually in either the longer Sani Dragon or shorter Sani Dragon Lite event.
