Internationally acclaimed musician, Kevin Burgess will perform at Sibaya's iZulu Theatre as part of his Weight and Glory SA Tour.

KWAZULU-NATAL’S gospel music fans are in for a treat on Sunday, 14 September when internationally-acclaimed Christian hip hop artist, Kevin Burgess – better known as KB – lights up the stage at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre as part of his Weight and Glory SA Tour.
Featuring songs from his latest album and performances by Natalie Lauren (Suzy Rock) and Southern African gospel artist, Ill Ceey, the show promises jamming beats, and challenging lyrics in the company of funky people.
“We are delighted to announce that renowned gospel hip hop artists, KB, will be performing at Sibaya during his Weight and Glory SATour. It is not often that we get to welcome international gospel performers of his caliber to our stage. That the show will feature performances by local gospel artists makes it extra special,” says Belinda Jelf, the Marketing Manager at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom.
KB hails from Florida in the United States. The leader of the hip hop group, HGA, he was signed as a solo artist to Reach Records in 2010 and later released debut album, Weight and Glory, to critical acclaim.
Singer and songwriter, Natalie Lauren (formerly Suzy Rock), is a popular and talented gospel artist.
Her most recent project, “Red Eyes and Blue Skies”, is dedicated to cancer awareness following the loss of her beloved aunt to pancreatic cancer.
Ill Ceey is a Southern African artist who started rapping at the age of 13.
He has been nominated for two years in a row for the Best Gospel Hip Hop Award 2012/2013 at the Annual Zim Hip Hop awards.
In his latest album “Thoughts of a Prodigal Son”, he opens up about what he faced, the ideals and ideas he had about ‘making it’ and how God transformed his thinking and put him back in a position to be an ambassador for positive change in this generation.
The Weight and Glory SA Tour show at Sibaya starts at 1.30pm and is open to all ages.
Tickets cost R150 per person though the Sibaya Box Office and at Computicket.
