What’s new at the movies?

This month brings with it some unbelievable new hits to add to movie lovers’ must-see lists. It’s Movie Mania at Nu Metro this March.

Look out for a special pre-release screening of Vin Diesel’s new action-thriller, Bloodshot, based on the popular comic book. See It First in all Nu Metro cinemas nationwide next Thursday, 12 March.

Ladies, we all have what it takes to be a strong, fierce warrior goddess. So grab all of your favourite fierce females and get ready for a brand-spanking new Girls’ Night Out at select Nu Metro cinemas on Thursday, 26 March. Bookings are now open for an exclusive pre-release screening of the re-imagined Disney classic, Mulan – the beloved epic showcasing exactly what is takes to be a badass babe.

Here are this week’s new movie releases at Nu Metro:

ONWARD (PG V)
Watch the Disney magic unfold before your eyes as teenage elf brothers get a magical opportunity to spend one more day with their late father. Featuring an amazing cast that includes Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, which has been carefully selected to bring the characters to life. Korie Rae says that Chris Pratt brings his “huge heart and fantastic humour to his character,” while “Tom Holland has an infectious charm and sincerity that makes you root for him in every character he plays.” Join in the 3D animated fun from the makers of Toy Story 4 to discover if there’s still a little magic left out there.

 

THE GENTLEMEN (18 DLS)
Crime meets class in this new action-comedy from writer-director Guy Ritchie starring Matthew McConaughey and an all-star ensemble cast. Follow the story of American expat Mickey Pearson – who has profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever, it triggers plots, schemes, bribery, and blackmail—in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him.
