Bokpark brings on the rugby festivities

Though the Springboks may not have won their match against Ireland on September 23, as they participated in the pool stage of the Rugby World Cup, the community’s pride in them never waned.

This was quite evident at Laerskool Fairland, when Pa’s in Aksie hosted a Bokpark for all to revel in. It was day that delighted rugby super fans as it encompassed everything they would ideally need. A great setting, big screen to watch the match, and the accompaniment of some legendary Springboks such as Bakkies Botha and Hendrik ‘Henno’ Mentz.
