Civilian Crime Intelligence Network expands reach as Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative headquarters officially opens at SCP Security
With the launch of the official VCSI headquarters, CCIN has a dedicated initiative aimed at protecting society’s most at-risk individuals from abuse, exploitation, and harm.
With the official launch of the Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI) headquarters at SCP Security, the Civilian Crime Intelligence Network (CCIN) now has a specialised portfolio within the organisation focused on safeguarding the most vulnerable members of society.
The launch took place on October 11, at the SCP Security offices in Northcliff, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s ongoing commitment to community safety.

Executive member of CCIN Dr Reza Patel expressed his pride and gratitude at the event. “This milestone represents a significant step forward in our collective efforts to create safer, more supportive communities for all.”
He extended his thanks to SCP Security, and its director Clive Maher, for their partnership and for providing the infrastructure necessary to establish the new headquarters. “Their commitment to the safety and well-being of our citizens is deeply appreciated.”
According to Patel, the VCSI headquarters will act as a central hub for providing resources and assistance to vulnerable citizens – including those affected by crime, abuse, and exploitation. “Our goal is to create a comprehensive network of services and stakeholders working together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
One of VCSI’s primary missions is to locate missing persons and reunite them with their loved ones. The initiative also assists in identifying individuals who have been found, but are unable to state who they are or where they come from.

Patel highlighted the importance of collaboration, noting that CCIN’s network continues to grow. “With a constantly expanding network attracting private security companies, law enforcement agencies, Community Policing Forums, and individuals, we are pleased to welcome those who are willing to operate under our umbrella.”
He thanked Andre Aiton, of Beagle Watch Security, Corinda Loots, of BCI Security, and her team, and Yaseen Teba, director of Vision Tactical, for their active support and partnership to CCIN.
