The President’s team beat the Captain’s team 21-11 in the competition played over the weekend. Thanks to all who entered. Mandla Mthethwa and Clement Chawanda (54 points) won the better ball competition played on Saturday. 
This is a new course record! Jurie Engelbrech and Loraine de Wit were second on 44 with Joff Davies and Joe Khumalo third on 43. Two clubs were recorded by Mandla Mthethwa on no.12, Rob Streak on no.12, Sibusiso Sithole on no.12 and 16, Clement Chawanda on no.14, Jurie Engelbrecht on no.4 and Loraine de Wit on no.4. Joe Khumalo hit a hole-in-one as well!
SALGA games – squash, golf and tennis: The SALGA games players have the courtesy of the course from December 12 – 14. Other players to play after their field. On Thursday the Sages have the courtesy of the couse. A club competition will be held after 1pm on Saturday, December 13. Condolences to the Wellman family after the tragic loss of Rainer. A meat competition will be held on Friday over nine holes – the 10th to the 18th. Note that the competition will tee-off after 2pm. Sunday social players will be able to play after 2.30pm.
Dr Sifiso Kunene will sponsor the December 16 competition. Remember the Roger Ross Memorial Day on Boxing Day.
