Fire damages factory on Faraday Street
A factory was engulfed in flames on faraday Street in the early hours of this morning.
A plastic-producing factory on Faraday Street in Riverside Industrial was partially engulfed in flames during the early hours of this morning (Monday, July 20).
According to a source not authorised to speak to the media, the fire broke out shortly before 01:00.
No injuries were reported. However, a large section of the premises was destroyed in the blaze.
Police investigate possible cause
The exact cause of the fire has not yet been established. However, the source suggested that copper theft may have been a contributing factor.
