DHS hosts Umzinyathi Netball Workshop
The workshop was attended by Netball coaches from Mvoti, Msinga, Endumeni and Nquthu.
DHS last week hosted an informative netball workshop.
The facilitator was Joyce from Amajuba and she did an excellent job.
The workshop was attended by Netball coaches from Mvoti, Msinga, Endumeni and Nquthu. The schools would like to thank the provincial structure as well as their own district structure for organising such a fruitful workshop. A big thank you to the principal of DHS and the Netball coaches for hosting the workshop.
DHS performs well against Amajuba
Last weekend DHS hosted the annual sports day against Amajuba High School. It was a cold and rainy day with everyone holding a cup of coffee in an attempt to keep warm.
Unfortunately, there weren’t many teams playing due to flu season being in full swing. The u/15 rugby boys won 17 – 0 and the first team won 22 – 0. DHS will take part in two more sports events before the end of the season and the school is looking forward to exciting results before starting with the June exams.
