VRYHEID SPCA held an enjoyable trivia evening on Saturday night, November 1, at the Michaelis Hall.

Quizmaster, Francis Fynn, baffled contestants with some tough questions and teams tackled the challenge with enthusiasm, as it was all for a good cause.

Well done to the ‘Unbearables’ who proved to be the smartest team on the night, taking first place.

As well as a fun-filled evening of general knowledge and trivia, contestants were treated to some great live music by local talent, Phillip Taylor, who once again proved the size of his heart as well as the extent of his musical talent and the true performer he really is, no matter the size of the crowd.

Vryheid SPCA would like to thank Phillip for his musical contribution, as well as a huge thank you to Clinton and Lucille Compton from Distell Trade City and Michelle from Beauty Basics for their very kind and generous sponsorship of gifts for the evening. “They are really ‘pawsome’.”
