Learners bleed for the cause

The clinics were well-supported by the learners and a substantial supply of blood was collected

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) visited three high schools in Estcourt last week. The clinics were well-supported by the learners and a substantial supply of blood was collected for the remainder of the winter season.

At Estcourt Secondary School – 53 donors attended, 43 pints of blood were collected and 19 new donors were welcomed.

54 donors attended the clinic at Drakensberg Secondary School; 46 pints were donated with 14 new donors.
At Estcourt High School 46 donors came forward, 37 bled and 12 were new donors.

The SANBS and Donor Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to send our humble and loving gratitude to everyone who supported the clinics.
