GALLERY: Treverton learners pursue adventure outdoors

Learners test their skills at ‘unconventional’ sport

Treverton College recently held an Outdoor Pursuits weekend.

That means there is no conventional sport at Treverton but the children are taken out in their different grades to do activities, such as hikes in the mountains, along the Wild Coast, and on campus due to weather conditions in the mountains.

Grade eights went to Wagendrift Dam where they hiked, camped, canoed and did a number of problem solving challenges.

The grade nines and 12s had to leave the Drakensberg early due to weather conditions but continued with outdoor pursuits activities on campus such as archery, canoe water polo, mountain biking and bass fishing.
