Amid boisterous cheers from spectators and peers, the entrants put their best efforts forward and made a sprint for the finish line.

Some of the novelty races included the balloon race, three-legged race and water race. During the water race learners and educators were paired up and had to rely on each other to finish first.

The roars of laughter from the spectators made it evident that this race was thoroughly enjoyed. The three houses that competed were Hamlet, Macbeth and Caesar.
