Food parcels to assist vulnerable families

Children receive the food parcels monthly

The orphaned and vulnerable children at Ithembalethu Outreach Project have been receiving regular food parcels for the last 14 months.

This after the Gift of the Givers partnered with the organisation and pledged monthly support. 200 children receive the food parcels, which are designed to last a family of four for a month.

Last Wednesday, Jaaved Khan and his team from the Gift of the Givers met Sister Beata Msomi and her caregivers at Wembezi to kick off the February distribution.

After the food parcels were distributed, the teams travelled to Colita and Rensburgdrift to spread goodwill to the children there.
