The teams started in Bruntville, where the shivering residents collected their parcels before heading home.

Strict sanitizing and social distancing rules were adhered to.

Next it was off to Rietvlei, where 50 people received parcels.

While huddled around a fire, the residents ensured that their names appeared on a list before retrieving their packages.

There was plenty of gratitude from all the recipients.
