New Year resolutions have been made and the most common one is to live a healthier life in the New Year. There is an easy way to commit to those resolutions by joining the Parkrun every Saturday.
What is parkrun?

Parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome.
How do I join parkrun?
Parkrun is free and you only need to register once whether walking, jogging, running, volunteering or a combination.
Where is parkrun?
Parkrun is at 07:00 at the Vryheid Golf Club’s side entrance.
A word from the local Parkrun organisers: “We’ve all had fun at parkrun over the last year, let’s make this year just as much fun. Challenge yourself to achieve your milestone events, achieve your personal best times, do your first (or even milestone) volunteer event. Vryheid Parkrun belongs to all of us that participate. Let’s make 2025 great together!”
