Parkrun joins hands with women’s ministry for charity

The top two finishers at Vryheid parkrun on Saturday were Linda Gabela and Andike Manyathi, while Natalie Gaskell scooped first place in the women’s division.
Personal best times were set by Amanda, Andiswa, Rene and Pieter. Parkrun also welcomed three first-timers: Sharon, Charlene and Sesetu.
Vryheid parkrun turns seven next month! The event has had an incredible journey so far and has built a wonderful local community, where friendships are created and great memories are made.
Join parkrun every Saturday at 08:00 for a walk or run where you can enjoy the great outdoors while having some fitness fun.
Take note of ‘Run with a Purpose’ on June 21 at 08:00. Join ‘We Rise Women’s Ministry’ for a charity run as they collect toiletry donations to support and uplift women in hospital. Every step makes a difference! Your donation will help provide essential toiletries and comfort during their stay.
The first 100 participants receive a free coffee for their donation of one or more of the following items: soap, face cloth, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, and sanitary pads.
