Golfers rally behind Michaelis Private School fundraising cause
Golfers enjoyed a flawless day raising funds for Michaelis Private School in Vryheid.
The day began with great excitement and anticipation as golfers gathered for a special fund-raiser hosted at Vryheid Country Club – all in support of Michaelis Private School.
Though the early weather forecast had us a little concerned, Mother Nature had other plans, blessing us with clear skies and perfect conditions for a round of golf.
With golf carts lined up and spirits high, players made their way through the course, ready for a long but enjoyable day of golf. From the first tee-off to the final hole, the event ran seamlessly – no hiccups, no delays – just a day filled with laughter, good sportsmanship and a shared commitment to a worthy cause.
The atmosphere was truly festive; a testament to the strong sense of community that surrounds Michaelis. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a success: Vryheid Country Club for the fantastic venue, the Golf Club Committee for their tireless efforts, and most importantly the broader community whose support and sponsorship is incredibly appreciated.
As we reflect on this incredible day, we’re also looking ahead with great excitement to our next big event – the Michaelis Challenge taking place on September 13 at the stunning Bloemveld Dam. Whether you’re into mountain biking or trail running, there’s something for everyone.
Entries are now open online at www.events.myactive.co.za, or feel free to reach out to us directly on 071 522 2327.
Thank you once again for your continued support – we can’t wait to see you at the next adventure!
