Cold weather no match for determined Vryheid parkrun participants

Seven runners record personal bests despite freezing temperatures at the latest Vryheid parkrun event.

Despite the near-freezing temperatures on Saturday, seven parkrun participants still managed to achieve personal bests. Well done to Ntando, Frederik, Antony, Ntombiyenkosi, Sthembiso, Manfred and Christa. A warm welcome also went to first-timer André.
At the front of the field, Siyathokoza Dlamini was the first to cross the finish line overall, while Prudence Nkosi was the first female finisher at Vryheid parkrun.
