Vryheid wrestlers impress at development event

Local wrestlers show skill and spirit at the Super Hero Tournament in October.

The heart of wrestling development beats strong at the Super Hero Tournaments, and the October event proved it again. A big thank you went to Glencoe Wrestling ‘Renosters’ and the sponsors for hosting a great tournament and providing impressive medals. Coaches complimented the club, saying, “Walking into the club brings back the pride and drive that keep experienced wrestlers on the mat and gives new wrestlers the motivation they need to push forward in the sport.”

Support from wrestlers, parents and coaches

The Vryheid club thanks every wrestler who stepped up with energy and commitment, from first-timers to the most seasoned competitors. They also appreciate the parents who support their children through every weigh-in, match and training session – your role matters more than you know.

Officials help keep the day on track

Appreciation also goes to the coaches and officials who guided the athletes and kept the day running smoothly.

Looking ahead to the next event

“Until the next event, keep training, keep believing and keep growing.”
