It’s Friday and Stephan, along with his business partner, Norman Zondi, are hard at work outside Mega Steak Butchery, owned by Vickers, at the corner of Heeren and Emmett Streets, preparing burgers on the braai for a bargain price.

R30 will get you a burger and a can of cooldrink and it’s all for a good cause. The proceeds generated at this fundraiser will benefit the animals at Vryheid SPCA.

Orders are streaming in, with local businesses like Vryheid Cash and Carry Liquors and NTT Toyota placing substantial orders for 41 and 40 burgers respectively.

Stephan would like to thank the community for their support and encourages Vryheid residents to place their orders by calling 079 890 9084 or by visiting them at Mega Steak for a great deal on lunch.
