UPDATE: ‘Stockvel’ truck driver passes on
Officials described him as a young man who had been full of energy.
The driver of the Kotoko truck that got involved in an accident while travelling from Vryheid to Nquthu unfortunately passed away this past Sunday.
According to officials at the transporting business, the driver, who has been identified as Mduduzi Nkosi suffered severe head injuries and finally lost the fight for his life around 9AM on Sunday.
Officials described him as a young man who had been full of energy and extended their condolences to his friends and family.
Traffic officials who arrived at the scene on Friday said that they believed that Mduduzi had been trying to overtake when he lost control of the vehicle that was heavily laden with stockvel groceries.
