Vryheid protestors demand jobs from Transnet
The community members claim that locals should take preference when local companies are hiring.

Members of the Vryheid community have stood picketing outside the Transnet RME buildings for two days straight claiming that the company’s recent recruitment processes were unfair.

These community members claim that although the posts that sought out over 40 employees were advertised for the Vryheid community, many of the people that were interviewed and came through for medical examinations were from out of town.
