Hamilton’s grade 6 pupils attended a three-day camp at Entabeni Crane and Wetlands Sanctuary.
During this time, much fun was had while learning about the importance of wildlife and wetlands conservation.
Boston, the Crowned Crane, became a favourite as he mingled with the children and instructors, showing his human side and unique character.
Group activities included abseiling, an obstacle course, archery and other exciting team-building exercises during which they also had the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. Hamilton would like to extend their appreciation to Nick and Karma Shaw for the memorable stay.
