Glass blocks Azalea Drive
If people use this road for an afternoon walk and don’t see the glass, they could end up cutting their feet

Motorists were fuming when they found broken glass and stones blocking Azalea Drive over the weekend.
When a Ladysmith Gazette journalist took a drive to see the state of the road for herself and take photos, she saw many cars making a U-turn and going back the way they had come. Residents of the area believe this to be a horrible prank.
“You can’t afford to drive through the glass for fear of damaging your tyres. Whoever did this needs to catch a wake-up; it’s really not funny at all,” said a furious motorist. Another concern is that if people use this road for an afternoon walk and don’t see the glass, they could end up cutting their feet. “We just hope the road gets cleared up as soon as possible so motorists and pedestrians can go on their way with no worries. Who does a stupid thing like this anyway; what possible joy could it bring?” said another motorist.
