Grade 10 Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) pupils Keanen Jagannath and Meshayne Motheram have achieved great success in the Science Expo. These budding scientists were given the opportunity to attend the International Science Expo which was held in Boksburg at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre from September 25 to 28. The Lasec pupils won the bronze medal in the category they were entered for their project called ‘Meat Scandal vs Modified Food’. The boys were two of about 1600 pupils from throughout South Africa and also schools from other African countries. There is definitely scientific talent in our midst!
