Sometimes listening to the sounds of melodious voices can send shivers down your spine, or you may experience that warm fuzzy feeling that makes one want to proudly applaud.
Glencoe Primary School was surrounded by the sound of music on September 18 when they held their annual choir festival.
Glencoe Primary, Glencoe Pre-Primary, Ichthus, Uelzen, Dundee Junior, Dundee High, Biggarsberg, Paul Pietersburg and Sarel Cilliers brought their spectacular voices to the stage, and each child made it a heart-warming experience for the applauding audience.
A special thank-you goes to all choir conductors for the amazing commitment, determination and motivation which they have put into their choirs, as well as the inspiration which they have given to all the learners.
And not forgetting Miss Bohmer and Mrs Bruyns for organising this successful event!

Glencoe Primary School teachers celebrated Teachers’ Day on October 4.
Proud of their profession, teachers were praised and spoilt with gifts from learners at Glencoe Primary School. \
Without teachers, no other profession would exist.
So teachers… take a deep breath in and give yourselves a pat on the back for doing the most rewarding profession of giving knowledge to the youth of the community.
