Seven young scientists from Egerton Primary School were selected to represent NKZN at the Eskom Science Fair 2013. They had the experience of a lifetime as they met up with 800 other participants from around Africa, appeared on live TV, attended workshops and were judged by international-standard judges. Top-class entertainment was also provided and a pin-exchange evening gave them time to meet and share gifts with other participants. Congratulations to Thajna Sewpersad who obtained a gold medal and was given a special award for being the top female from a primary school. Silver awards were presented to Ronin Naidoo, Leandi Marais, Michael Ristow and Celeste Liebenberg. Neelan Gouden obtained a bronze medal. Ronin also received two special awards from independent judges. Well done to you all!
