Newcastle has had two new nursery schools opening their doors recently.
The two “new kids on the block” are Li’l Angels Nursery School and After Care situated next to MSC
College in Ayliff Street and their sister school Little Angels Early Childhood Development Centre of Hluhluwe street in Ncandu Park.
The two schools recently held a fun fi lled Spring Day celebration in which the ‘’Little Angels’’ were treated
to sumptuous meals and a lot fun and games. The ‘angels’ had an opportunity to have fun with jumping castles, jungle gyms, water games, fl ower planting and a musical talent show where they tried to outwit each other in singing their
rhymes.
The two schools cater for children from as young as three months to five years, and applications for 2014 placements are already in progress. The core directors of the two nursery schools, Bothwell Kadye and Mthunzi Mazibuko
who are both teachers in local schools, said they started this venture because they had a passion for kids and wanted to ensure that pupils who passed through their schools got a very strong foundation for a very successful future.
