Suspects await bail hearing

Bongani was murdered during a schoolyard fight that broke out at the school during morning prayers.

Four Isizimele High School students accused of murder will have to for November 19 for their bail application to be heard.
Thabone Langa (19), Bhekanani Mazibuko (18), Siphamandla Mazibuko (20) and Sibangiseni Ndaba (19) are charged with the murder of fellow student, Bongani Nkabinde (18).

The school is situated on the Nelly Valley Farm, approximately 20kms from the town of Dannhauser.

Bongani was murdered during a schoolyard fight that broke out at the school during morning prayers.
The matter was set down for bail today but the defence lawyer asked that it be postponed as the accused had provided alternate addresses.

He asked that the investigating officer be given time to verify the addresses before matters could proceed.

The case was then postponed for November 19.
The murder made national headlines after a video was released showing Bongani being struck down during the fight.
