Learners from ML Sultan Glencoe Secondary who belong to the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, Glencoe Satsang Group, proudly added to the Heaven on Earth project by sponsoring blankets for needy learners.
The Heaven on Earth Initiative is a project that was started by educators and learners who organised various charity drives that helped our learners and community members throughout the year.
Learners were aided with school uniforms, and clothes and canned foods were sponsored to the Siphuthando Care Centre. The Grade 12 learners visited the Aryan Benevolent Home with gift hampers, and also provided a hot lunch to all residents at the home. Another project that gave us much joy was when management and staff teamed together and surprised all learners with a scrumptious meal.
ML Sultan is very proud of the learners who realise that giving is just as important as receiving.
