NHS pupils are honoured for their dedication and diligence

On Thursday October 17 the school celebrated the achievements of its sports stars of 2013 during the annual Sports Prize Giving function.

Once again it was a glamorous formal function in the school hall. The 110 sports stars were eagerly awaiting the time
when their names would be read out to receive their awards for their hard and dedicated work on the sports fields and courts this year.

The guest speaker of the evening was Gwyn Pine. Mr Pine delivered a motivational speech to the sports stars, saying that it did not matter how old you were, success would come if you were dedicated, disciplined and passionate.

The following awards were handed out: 11 merit certificates, 10 half colour awards, 35 colour awards, 10 honour awards and 92 trophy awards.
