Egerton Primary School held its annual Foundation Phase Gala on Friday at the school pool. Many fun races were swum, such as the hula-hoop and plastic bag race.
The children had to tackle certain obstacles in some of the races, such as opening a two-litre bottle in order to receive a letter hidden inside before swimming another width back to their starting points.
In another race, the pupils put their wet faces in a plate of flour in order to retrieve Smarties.The water and flour combination made for lots of laughter! All the pupils had a great time and parents cheered on their little ones.
