The pupils had great fun after they listened to pirate songs and used pirate lingo to communicate with one another

Hamilton Preparatory School’s grade 3s had a ‘Pirate Day’ on Friday, November 15.

They learnt how to write an adventure story and they each read their stories to one another. They planned a treasure hunt and this created immense excitement when it came to finding one another’s treasures.

The pupils had great fun after they listened to pirate songs and used pirate lingo to communicate with one another.

Mr Hutchinson taught them a song on their recorders, which added to the elation of the day.

Thank you to Mr Pringle for allowing the grade 3s such a fun-filled day!
