On Thursday, November 28 the Ichthus staff, governing body and the Grade 7 parents were transported back to the Wild West, to bid the 11 Grade 7 learners of the Class of 2013 farewell.
The Grade 7s all looked exquisite as they each took the trouble to dress up for their special evening. Speeches, blessings, laughter, tears and a lovely three-course meal were the highlights of the evening.
Ichthus thanks the Grade 7 parents for their role in the blessing of their children. The school also thanks the learners who shared their memories of their years at Ichthus.
Thank you to Mrs Willemse and Mrs Meintjes, who organised the evening, to the Grade 6 parents who helped with the decorating of the hall, and especially to Mrs Helen van Emmerik for catering for the evening. Ichthus appreciates all the input you put into making this evening special for everyone. To the Class of 2013: God bless, Ichthus will miss you!
