Weenenprimer have experienced yet another “miracle” in the school’s ongoing development.

The Pre-Primary building has for an extended period been in need of serious renovation and repair.

With the financial restraints the Education Department are going through, the school attempted to find funders to assist them in doing the much-needed repairs and renovations.

Into the frame stepped the Estcourt Rotary Club who visited the school with a team of Rotarians from their own club and another from India. One of the team members was a structural engineer and immediately ascertained that the building required underpinning and overall renovation. This would cost money, which the school did not have!

Despite there being no money readily available, Estcourt Rotarians requested a quote and said was duly forwarded.

Within a very short period of time and with contributions from Gujarathi and Rotarians from Littlehampton Club in the UK the go-ahead was given for the structural and cosmetic work to commence.

Amidst great excitement and after a short time, the building was underpinned, a new ceiling fitted and the entire building painted inside and out. The “miracle” was complete! The Principal, SGB, parents and pupils wish to express a HUGE thank you to Estcourt Rotary, Gujarati and Littlehampton Clubs for their magnanimous contribution. It is truly appreciated!
