After weeks of hard work, school ended for the pupils at Weenen Primêr with their Foundation Phase Prize Giving on December 3 and the Intermediate and Senior prize giving on December 4.

It had been an extremely busy end of term with current affairs inter-house quizzes, a fun sports day against the Grade sevens and the Grade six and sevens completed writing their books for their reading buddies.

Grade R and RR had their final ring on Monday, December 2 followed by a party given by their Reading Buddies in Grade six and seven.

Their buddies also presented them with the books that they had written.

There was great excitement and even tears as buddies said farewell to each other. Congratulations to these young folk and all the best to the Grade sevens of Weenen Primêr.
