The Grade 11 class of 2013 at Treverton College were projected into the future when they were formed into the Matric Portfolio Committees for 2014. The committees are the brainchild of the senior Deputy Headmaster Student Affairs Rob Wyatt-Minter.
The rationale behind the “portfolio” concept is to include all the Grade 12 learners into projects, which will contribute to improvements at the school or within the community.
There are five portfolio committees; Environment, Outreach, Sports and Marketing, Peer Mentorship and Grounds and Buildings.
Each committee has a leader; they meet regularly and have already developed their proposals for the New Year.
