n January 24, Dundee High School had their annual inter-house athletics meeting on a sweltering hot day.
The 1 200m speed-walk, as always, was the most popular item of the day.
The most spectacular event of the day was the teacher’s relay, where our young male staff members showed that they still have what it takes to compete with the best.

Junior Victor Ludorum – Emogene van der Schyff; Junior Victrix Ludorum – Chantè Groenewald; Senior Victrix Ludorum – Soenè Kolesky; Senior Victor Ludorum – Jonathan Benjamin.
TD Agri 7s Tournament
On February 1, Dundee High School hosted the annual TD Agri 7s Tournament.

Die uiteindelike wenners van die eerste liga was Hoërskool Vryheid, en die tweede liga Hoërskool Ferrum.
Both of Dundee High School’s teams reached the final and semi-final. The irony of it all was that Dundee High’s teams managed to beat both trophy winners in the round-robin games, but could not manage to do so in the latter stages of the tournament.
Well done to our DHS boys, who performed extremely well considering the short space of preparation time in the lead-up to the tournament.
Dundee Hoërskool wil net weereens ‘n hartlike woord van dank uitreik na Mnr Tertius Dowling en Mnr Johan Pretorius, wie se vrygewigheid ‘n bodemlose put is, en waarsonder die toernooi nooit sou kon plaasvind nie.
