Mystery surrounds attack on Ethiopian family

Family targeted in fire bomb attack

Mystery still surrounds the petrol-bomb attack on a premises occupied by Ethiopian nationals. A truck belonging to Tarekegn Bogata Gansato was gutted, and the building on Norenius Lane partially damaged on the night of March 13.
No one was injured in the attack, but Mr Gansato said he had no idea why he had been picked on. Police are still investigating.
Mr Gansato also denied that there were ‘around 30 people’ staying in the old factory building.
“There are only three of us here – my wife, child and I,” he confirmed, adding that the other Ethiopians who gathered at the scene on the morning after the attack were ‘just there to support me’.
