Ladysmith High School’s first team rugby recently received new gear. The boys were appreciative recipients of shorts by Lasher Tools and Halsted and were also given new shirts and kit bags by De Franca’s Spar.
The school is grateful for the sponsorship and would like to thank the sponsors. On Saturday the team went to Durban to take part in the Durban North College Rugby Tournament. LHS is one of the longest attending schools at the tournament and it is one of the sporting highlight for the boys.
While there, they were also treated to watch a Sharks game. The Sharks extended their lead at the Super Rugby summit with a 32-10 victory over an undisciplined Waratahs side at Kings Park, a win which must have inspired the LHS first team.
