A 19-year-old is still reeling after she suffered horrifically at the hands of two women in Durnacol.
The women, a mother and daughter (aged 56 and 33) are alleged to have assaulted the victim with sticks and their fists.
Once of the suspects then took out a knife and cut off the victims clothes, leaving her naked.
They then took chili powder and green chilies and forced her to insert them into her private parts.
The motive for the assault is not yet known. However, it is believed that the victim was accused of having an affair with an older man in the area.
The suspects were arrested and charged with sexual assault and assault common. They appeared in the Dannhauser Magistrate’s Court, and the case has been remanded to a later date.
Police did not reveal the name of those involved in the assault.
The suspects will appear again in Court on April 22.
