NRS – Results so close, who will be Dux?

NRS believes in healthy competition. During the internal prizegiving on March 27, the following learners, amongst others, were awarded for being the top academic achievers in their respective grades: Gr. 4: Owen Morgenrood; Mariam Mehtar; Laiba Jaura; Tyra Hughes; Nondumiso Mcineka; Kesley-Anne Ackerman; Zander van Greuning; Beulah Fortuin and Wandile Xulu. Gr. 5: Zahra Cassim; Leo Mattison; Mustapha Gora; Olwethu Ndwandwe; Juan Vosloo and Nicole Larsen. Gr. 6: Muhammed Manjoo; Gausiya Gora; Ali Abdulla; Alison Freiburg; Nolwazi Mabaso and Maka Ndaba. Gr. 7: Abdullah Jasat; Tasmiyyah Ebrahim; Lana Schoeman; Jadine Budhram and Cebo Phakathi. Well done to all these learners! In Grade 7 the difference between some learners’ averages is only 0.3%. Who will be the Dux student at the end of the year? Rugby: Several of our rugby players took part in rugby trials last week. We are proud to announce that Andile Madi and Ndumiso Dludla were included in the u/12 Vryheid District team. The following five boys were selected for the u/13 Vryheid District team: Mlando Mathebula; Lindo Ndlovu; Smilo Mtshali; Buhle Nene and Kwanda Mngadi.
