Sarel Cilliers’ Hockey tour to Margate develops skills

During their spare time they enjoyed spending some time on the beach - a first for some of them.

During the holiday the boys and girls hockey players went on tour to the Margate sport school, where they were taught some defensive and attacking skills.
They also played against schools from Gauteng and the Free State.
The boys played against Bryanston, Uitsig and Sutherland. They won one game and drew two.
The girls played against Uitsig, Harrismith, St Dominic’s from Welkom, Drie Riviere, St Michael’s and Morgezon. They won two games, drew three games and lost one.
During their spare time they enjoyed spending some time on the beach – a first for some of them.
The hockey players would like to thank Dr ML Neethling for this opportunity.
