Two business burglaries were reported within seven hours on Friday night and Saturday morning.
In both cases the suspects fled with cash and goods.
Police spokesperson Captain JS Sokhela explains: “The first incident happened on May 23 at about 6pm at Marlene’s Scrap Metals where a security guard was robbed of cash and bags of copper wires. The second incident was reported on May 24 at 1.30am at Duzane Store where electronic equipment was stolen. The security guard on duty was tied up. In both cases the motive was robbery.”
No arrests have been made.
