Possession of counterfeit currency

Dannhauser police arrested Mfundo Nyamane of Madadeni for possession of counterfeit money. 
The suspect was spotted by police at Mbabane Farm in his black VW Golf while they were patrolling the area. 
When police searched the vehicle they found a plastic bag with a blue box inside containing the counterfeit notes. 
The money amounted to R65 000. The suspect was then arrested and charged. 
He appeared in the Dannhauser Magistrates’ Court on May 26 and the case was remanded to July 14.
