Ask a Business Column
The Amajuba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has started a new initiative, called Ask a Business. In a nutshell, readers can submit a question, which will be published along with the answer every week.

Have you ever wondered how businessmen and women of Newcastle became successful? Do you have questions you would love to ask, and get professional, informative answers?
The Amajuba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has started a new initiative, called Ask a Business. In a nutshell, readers can submit a question, which will be published along with the answer every week.
According to Irshaad Peer, Chairman of ACCI committee, the idea behind the column is to address questions readers have in regard to business in general.
“We cannot address specific issues, and the advice that will be given in the column cannot replace a professional consultation,” said Mr Peer. “It will assist in giving the reader an overall understanding of a solution. In other words, to point them in the right direction.”
Once a week, the Newcastle Advertiser will choose one of the submitted questions and refer it to ACCI. They will in turn choose a suitable person to respond to the question.
“The questions will be answered to the best of the ability of the author,” said Mr Peer. “ACCI cannot take responsibility for the accuracy of the answers, but we hope to provide good advice.”
Have you got a question in mind? Email your question to newed2@caxton.co.za, with Ask a Business in the subject line, and look forward to your response from ACCI.
