A case of attempted housebreaking at a business premises has been opened

A case of attempted housebreaking at a business premises has been opened at Ezakheni SAPS against 22-year-old Siphamandla Sithole who was found chained up like an animal in a tavern toilet.

While the case of kidnapping (man-stealing) against those who held the 22-year-old captive is due to continue in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, July 30, police are investigating a housebreaking case against Siphamandla Sithole.

The young man was freed by Ladysmith K9 officers on Wednesday last week after being held captive and tortured for a whole week by a well-known businessman and his ‘hit-men’.

He has been taken to a hiding place, as he fears for his safety.
