Treverton’s Prep had a sporting holiday

Three Prep pupils and accomplished equestrians Kelly Fletcher, Beth van Onselen, and Robbie Anderson represented Northern KZN U14s at the Inter-Provincial Tournament in Richmond over the holidays

Many Prep pupils enjoyed sporting activities during the July holidays, kicking the rugby or soccer ball, bringing out the cricket bat or dribbling the hockey ball….
However, some took part in organised competitive sport and enjoyed success!
Grade six Michael Morris represented the U12 KZN Inland hockey team at the Interprovincial tournament held in Witbank Mpumalanga over the July holidays.
The Inland team won all of their matches and finished at the top of their pool.
Three Prep pupils and accomplished equestrians Kelly Fletcher, Beth van Onselen, and Robbie Anderson represented Northern KZN U14s at the Inter-Provincial Tournament in Richmond over the holidays.
Once back at school, girls’ hockey saw the U11 and U13 teams go on a Hockey Tour to the South Coast.
The first match for the U11 team was against the South City Christian School, and they won the game 3 – 0. On Saturday, they played two matches drawing 0-0 with Izotcha and defeating a combined team 1- 0. Their coach is Grade 6 teacher Di Tanner.
The U13 team also played against their peer group at South City.
They played extremely well, and we dominated the game and won the match 2-1. They won their match against Izotsha 3-2, they achieved their hat-trick by winning their third match against Creston 1-0. Their coach is Prep teacher Gail Palmer.
Once their games were over, they celebrated their victory by spending time at the beach and battling the waves.
